Macintosh

  • MacUpdate has launched its Spring 2010 software bundle featuring Parallels Desktop 5 and nine other top Mac applications 88% off.   • iPresentee has released iWeb Themes 7.0 for Apple’s Web site building application. iWeb Themes 7.0 are available in standard and iPhone edition.   • Little Green Software has announced Tally-O 1.1 for iPhone and iPod touch.   • From the land of down under comes a highly advanced and sophisticated Strobe Tuner developed by Jormy Games.   • Wuonm has released DisCover 1.0, their one-tap music player for iPhone, iPod and iPad devices. DisCover allows anyone to add icons onto the home screen using artwork from their music library. The album can be played by simply tapping the created icon on their springboard. DisCover automatically searches for all the music on the device.   • Handmark has announced its support of the new Apple iPad, set to launch on April 3.   • Handmark and MMAjunkie.com have announced the availability of a new free MMAjunkie.com mobile news application for the iPhone and BlackBerry smartphones. MMAjunkie.com is an independent news site devoted to the highly popular sport of MMA, a full-contact combat sport that combines a wide variety of fighting techniques, mixing classical martial arts with other styles of fighting as diverse as wrestling and Brazilian jiu jitsu.   • Good.iWare has released a new version of its GoodReader file viewer for iPhone that includes “server-style” support for DropBox. Now users can upload files and even entire directories to Dropbox from GoodReader, and are also able to delete files just like they could with a normal file server, such as FTP. The most recent version of GoodReader offered a web-browser connection to DropBox, which enabled users to browse DropBox accounts and download files into GoodReader, but did not enable users to reverse that process and upload files from GoodReader to DropBox.
