There’ll come a point today when the parades and cemetery services have ended, but you can continue to honor our fighting men and women by trying to imagine (and I stress “imagine”) what it was like to actually go through war. To that end, Aspyr has announced they’re knocking 25% off the price of their war games available through GameAgent.com. This includes titles from the popular Call of Duty and Medal of Honor franchises.
It always seems kind of weird to me when a company uses something like Memorial Day to promote their wares, but I’ve played every Mac game that’s available here, and I can attest that they don’t just turn war into an afternoon of shoot-em-up. These games do their best to accurately depict the brutality of war (as much as possible to a gamer sitting at the safety of a computer desk) and to honor the soldiers who had to live that life.
