Macintosh
- Ambrosia Software, Inc. has announced the release of Dragster 1.1.2, its convenient and configurable file transferring utility. The new version fixes various issues and improves key functionality. Dragster lets you quickly and easily send files to remote servers via numerous protocols, and to people via email, Bluetooth & Instant Messaging. The new version adds media sharing capabilities, so you can send pictures and videos to Flickr, Picasa, and YouTube with just a simple drag and drop.
- CHL Software has announced the initial beta release of DocMoto, their complete document and file management system designed specifically for the Mac platform. Providing features essential to a professional document manager, DocMoto can store any kind of digital file. Images, video and even email are all supported. In its standard form DocMoto delivers revision control, notifications, sophisticated searching and Meta tagging as well as other common document management features.
- Agile Web Solutions has released 1Password 3.2 with Safari 5 compatibility along with usability improvements and other fixes. 1Password 3.2 is an important update to Agile Web Solutions’ top-rated password and identity management application for the Mac. With the release of version 5 of Apple’s Safari web browser, Agile Web Solutions has updated the 1Password Safari extension to be fully compatible with the new browser.
- Savant Systems LLC has announced the introduction of two premium iPad in-home application docks that enable users to conveniently operate their iPad from a desktop or in-wall cradle. Savant’s new docks allow consumers to purchase five, six, even seven iPad controllers for the price of one traditional touch panel. Savant has changed the landscape of home control and entertainment by leveraging the speed, power and affordability of the Apple iPad. Both new docks are now shipping to authorized dealers.
