Going to an Apple Store on the launch of a new product is certainly an experience to remember. For the launch of the iPhone 4, I was at the Mayair Mall store in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Compared to the iPhone 3G launch day here, the line was much, much longer, with many more people arriving earlier than before. The Apple employees split the group of people in to two lines—those with reserved phones and those without. And let me tell you, there were many, many more employees working than usual.
At 6AM, we were let inside of the mall to wait in these two lines. During the hour between 6AM and 7AM, Apple employees walked around in blue shirts talking to people and handing out free Smart water and gift cards to Alterra Coffee in the mall. During this whole time, the entrance to the Apple store itself had a black curtain covering everything.
At 7AM sharp, the curtain was taken down and people began to enter. With rows of Apple employees on both sides clapping and giving high fives, it was definitely an image to remember as the first customer walked in. As the people purchased their phones, Apple activated them in the store in almost no time at all. This was a drastic change from the iPhone 3G launch, in which many customers spent hours at home attempting to activate their phones.
Overall, the experience was very enjoyable and smooth. Apple certainly does know how to make waiting in line worth it.

I dropped my iPhone 4 on the 2nd day after i got it and it cracked the screen,i still like the plastic back of the 3GS as u dont have to be worried of it getting cracked atleast….had to get it repaired at iPhone Repair Dallas as currently ony they are offering iPhone 4 Repair.
