In what’s becoming a tradition here at Appletell, we’re going to celebrate our home country’s Independence Day with a speaker dock giveaway. This time around, it’s Speakal’s iCrystal iPod docking station and speaker system. Available in red, white or black, the iCrystal plays and charges all iPods with the Dock Connector, and features a unique illuminated globe and teardrop design. To enter, just follow these three easy steps:
- Read the iCrystal iPod speaker dock contest rules. Note that the contest is, unfortunately, open only to residents of the United States and Canada.
- Make sure you’re registered with Appletell and logged in (if you’re not registered and logged in, your entry will be void). Also a good idea to check compatibility with your iPod before entering.
- Leave us a comment below on this page (not on the contest rules page) telling us what music you won’t be listening to on the iCrystal should you win. We’ve heard enough about the music you like, now we want to know what you don’t like.
That’s all there is to it. Entries will be accepted from June 28th through July 11th. The winner will be randomly selected from all qualified entries, and will be notified by e-mail by July 18th. Good luck!

First, thanks for making this iCrystal speaker available to be won — by me, I hope. If I should win, I won't be listening to any current pop music.
I guarantee that should I win these speakers, they will never utter a note of any modern country. Bluegrass, folk, trad, and all manner of Rock, pop, funk, jazz and classical will emanate on a regular basis, but you will never – and I mean NEVER – hear any Garth Brooks coming out of those bad boys.

Another speaker dock would be wonderful – especially if it will charge my phone. It will not get to enjoy any thrash metal however…bleeding ears are not my joy.
I listen to a lot of music with one hugh exception…..I WILL NOT LISTEN TO RAP, I don't care who's singing or what genre. No RAP for me!!

Oh boy , don't even get me started on what type of music I don't want to listen to on my iPod.
First , I truly dislike listening to "Hardcore Rock" – the type of rock in which the person screams nonsense into the mic. My second would probably have to go with Opera – type of music because of it's pitches and "unpopular" and unappealing rhythms. I also don't like listening to pop music , such as Britney Spears – I'm A Slave 4 U.
Lady Gaga is the definition of horrible music.
I would not use them to listen to Abba.
