Apple’s iPhone 4 Case Program is now live. Yes, that means you can finally request your free case from Apple to help solve the antenna issue you probably aren’t experiencing right now anyway. Anything for a free iPhone case, though, right?
You can visit Apple’s iPhone 4 Case Program site for full details, but here’s how it works…
You have to download an app from the App Store, sign in with your iTunes Account, select a case, and place your order. This is pretty much the only way Apple can identify that your iPhone 4 case order is unique, by accessing identifying details directly from your iPhone 4 via an app. If you were hoping for a bumper, then you can expect to request it in any color, as long as that color is black. That’s right, no white, pink, green, blue or orange. You also can’t buy those colors from Apple, so if you already have one, it’s worth a lot more than you paid for it. Especially when you recall that Apple already started refunding Bumper purchases in full.
If Bumpers aren’t your style, here’s what you have to choose from:
- Speck’s PixelSkin HD or Fitted Case
- Griffin’s Reveal Etch or Motif
- Incase’s Snap Case
- Belkin’s Shield Micra
You can learn more about these cases in our iPhone 4 Case Program product details article.
After you place your order, you can’t change it; you can’t even see the available case list. The app indicates that cases will ship in 3 to 5 weeks.
So if you have an iPhone 4, download the app, request your free case, and stop complaining.

ifone much discussion these days is. So I decided that I have to buy it this month.Actually, I know that,Since Apple can get away with continuous delays on the white phone without the bloggers coming down on them, MS should delay Windows Phone 7 and make sure that copy/paste and multitasking are included on the first go round.
