Rumor: Apple media event to be held September 7th?

Well, August has just about come and gone, meaning the previous rumor of an August Apple event was clearly inaccurate. However, this updated rumor appears to have more backing. According to a Bloomberg report, Apple will hold a press event on September 7th (which, as usual, is a Tuesday) to enable them to announce their product two weeks before this fall’s TV season kicks in.
If this is the case and the product is ready to ship on that date, then based on recent Apple TV rumors, we could be in for a pretty exciting announcement. Heck, a lot more exciting than Apple’s last press event.
I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to see the expensive cable subscriptions either die or become cheaper due to some good content deals and competition provided by Apple. Let’s hope that will be the case this September.
