If you have spent any amount of time with Word on your Mac, then you will, most likely, be getting very sick of seeing Times by now. If you want to change that to a more stylish (or simply less boring) typeface, these steps will help you out. Just be sure if you are using a custom typeface that it has been installed properly first.
Open Word by double clicking on its icon, either in the Doc or applications folder.
Open a new document.
Click on “Format” in the menu bar, then select “Font.”
Select your typeface, size and style.
Click on the word “Default.” It’s on the bottom left of this window.
