Sick of replacing batteries in your Magic Mouse? Disposable batteries really just make the process a little less, well, magical, don’t they? And rechargeables aren’t perfect either. Mobee would like to change all of that with their Magic Charger. It’s a wireless charging solution for the Magic Mouse that replaces the battery compartment and batteries with inductive rechargeables, making charging your Magic Mouse as simple as placing it on the recharge pad.
The Mobee Magic Charger is one of the most practical applications for wireless charging that I’ve seen. Normally to take advantage of wireless (inductive) charging, you have to encase your device in some clunky adapter. This is a bit different. All you have to do is replace the bottom compartment and batteries of your Magic Mouse with their adapter.
Here’s a video showing how easy this thing is to install and use.
Sure, you still need an adapter, but come on, this is totally convenient. All you have to do to charge your mouse now is throw it on the inductive stand. Want to use it again? Just take it off. No more low battery warnings from OSX, and no more replacing batteries. It doesn’t even need a wall outlet, only a free USB port.
You can now preorder a Mobee Magic Charger for $49.99. They’re set to ship in October. And if you like what you see, rumor has it Mobee will be announcing some more interesting products in the coming days.
Product [Mobee Magic Charger]

This is a great device. I'm getting one for sure.
This is bogus. It's not "wireless", it's inductive. The wire goes into the computer and through the USB port into the charger. You still have to plug it in to charge it, it's just easier because the plug is very large. Wireless power only exists in laboratories for now. What will we call it when we try to sell it? "Wireless power" is already taken.
Also, why couldn't they just make the charger the size of a mouse pad?
It's called wireless power because you don't have to plug in the actual battery. This is far from bogus. All "wireless" technologies have wires. You're wireless phone is full of wires. It connects to a tower that it full of wires. It's called wireless because at least one wire has been eliminated and because of this you gain convenience. This sort of inductive charging has been on the market for some time, but this is the most convenient use of it thus far. I believe you're calling this bogus because of the close proximity required for it to work. But I'm also doubting that you want to charge your Magic Mouse with a Tesla Coil. That's not exactly safe.
They didn't make it the size on a mouse pad because batteries are not most effectively charged 24/7. If you're looking for something like that, then I suggest you look into a Wacom Tablet. They've had tablets with mice like this for some time. Actually, there's don't even have batteries in them because their power is delivered from the tablet. You'll find this isn't that great of a solution.
