Mobz technologies has announced iSoundGrid-Cartoons 1.1, a new update to its theme based, high quality sound effects player for the iPad. iSoundGrid can play up to 32 sounds simultaneously, allowing users to loop sound effects while also changing pitch and gain of the played sounds. Version 1.1 contains a minor bug-fix, several restyling of graphics and some new functionality. To celebrate, Mobz technologies will start a contest and give away 50 iSoundGrid-Cartoon apps for free.
Independent app developer Dante Varnado Moore has announced Poet’s Pad 1.0.1, a professional poetry writing app designed specifically for the iPad. Poet’s Pad allows poets to write, arrange and store all of their creative writings and poetry concepts in one app. It also includes a digital audio recorder for writers who express their art via Spoken Word or Def Poetry. It contains powerful idea generating tools that are designed to inspire creative expression and eliminate writer’s block.
iHelpNYC has introduced Chem Pro 1.1, the ultimate Chemistry application for the iPhone and iPod touch. Independent developer Esa Helttula has released Column Subtraction 1.4, an update to the popular educational math app for iPhone and iPod touch. Column Subtraction 1.4 allows the user to teach and study column subtraction problems step by step and animates all the steps. The user can now input custom numbers or use random problems like before. The app is easy to use and it has an intuitive interface with customizable colors and other settings.
Sudden Creations has released Sudden Tap 1.2.11, a new update to their rhythm game for iPhone and iPod touch. With challenging and immersive gameplay, with animated notes and clean percussive feedback sounds, Sudden Tap lets the player feel like he’s not just playing the game but music too. Tap and drag the notes on the screen in the correct sequence and in time with the music. Version 1.2.11 is now Plus+ enabled and iOS4 ready.
We Are Colin has announced WordSearch Rush HD 1.0, their word puzzle game for iPad. WordSearch Rush HD is a unique twist on the conventional wordsearch game. The word list has been removed. Instead the user is given a topic which they have to find words related to. SPMobile.net has released RealCam SP 3.1, an update to its bestselling camera application for iPhone.
