Apps

  • Coinciding with the launch of Interpol’s Interpol album release, a new song pack featuring the band is now available for the Guitar Hero app for iPhone and iPod touch from Activision Publishing, Inc. Guitar Hero App fans will be some of the first to play along to Interpol’s “Barricade” from their new album. The entire song pack will contain “Barricade, “Evil” and “Slow Hands.”
  • Spartacus’ Arena is open for Gladiators-wannabes. Show your strength and combat skills in Artificial Life’s Spartacus: Blood and Sand iPhone game, the official game of the same titled TV series. From September 7th to October 7th, 2010, players can enter the competition by logging into the social network and submitting their Story Mode scores to the leaderboard. The player with the highest score wins and will have his or her face rendered to become one of our fighting gladiators in the next update. 2nd to 4th placed winners will be given Spartacus’ collectibles!
  • Urban Anomaly has released Invoice Robot 1.0, an iPad and iPhone application for creating and transmitting stylish, professional invoices in PDF format. Invoice Robot provides a simple calculation template that can also be used for proposals, quotations and receipts. Anyone waiting to get paid can close the loop on their financial transaction by sending invoices directly from their iOS device.
  • app4mac has released Delegate 1.1, a new major version of this to-do list manager designed for Mac, iPhone and iPad. Delegate is very flexible and powerful allowing Mac users to share a to-do list on the internet for remote access from any location. Delegate is compliant to GTD method Getting Things Done, and distills those principles into a clean and simple user interface. Special introductory price of the iPad/iPhone version until end of September.

  • JBMJBM has announced PRANK ME! 1.08, an update to their very popular Top 50 ranked app for iOS.   • Independent developer Libero Spagnolini has announced FaceMan 1.0, his new video effects app for iPhone and iPod touch devices. Let the fun begin!   • Kevin Ng Games has announced a reduced the price for WordCrasher, his popular tactile physics-based word iPhone game.   • Phenom Studios has released Bilboquet 1.0 for iPhone and iPod touch. Bilboquet allows you to control the popular toy in a virtual representation.   • Ascii Studios has introduced Talking Presidents 1.0 for iOS, which allows the user to create, email, and post comic video parodies using the presidents from Mt Rushmore. Talking Presidents extends the popular Talking Character concept to allow movies involving multiple characters to be created and shared. The included morphing control panel allows the user to tweak their voice to create humorous voice effects.
