Last call for buying a HyperMac with MacBook charging cable

A few weeks ago, we heard the unfortunate news that Sanho, creators of HyperMac, were being forced to stop selling the MacBook charging cable that makes their HyperMac products so useful, as a result of a legal battle with Apple. Well, that day has come. Today is the last day you’ll be able to buy both the HyperMac battery and the MacBook charging cable that allows you to charge your MacBook, MacBook Pro or MacBook Air from the external battery. By midnight (12:00 a.m. U.S. Pacific Time, November 2), they won’t be taking any more orders.

It doesn’t stop there, though. It seems Apple isn’t happy with the name HyperMac, either. As a result, Sanyo have decided that a name change is in order, and HyperMac will soon become HyperJuice. Not a huge change, but it’s enough to keep Apple’s legal team of their backs for now.

So what are you waiting for? I’m sure by now you’ve already read our reviews on the HyperMac product line and you have your credit card in hand. You never know, they might even become a collectable one day.
