Finally, my favorite iPhone/iPod case maker, SwitchEasy, has released a couple of new cases for the iPod Touch 4G. The SwitchEasy NUDE case and Pure Protective Skin for iPod Touch 4G are now ready for shipping.
The SwitchEasy NUDE Case is available in black and clear models, and has the following features we’ve all grown to love about NUDE cases.
- Ultra thin 1mm casing
- made from strong polycarbonate materials
- easy touch button access
- duo UV scratch resistant gloss coating
I’m guessing this case is the same as the SwitchEasy NUDE case for iPhone 4, so be sure to read our review to help you determine whether this same design is right for your iPod Touch 4G.
The other iPod Touch 4G accessory is the SwitchEasy Pure protective membrane. This provides total screen protection for your iPod Touch 4G. There are three choices of this protective cover:
- PureProtect – High gloss, ultimate clarity, toughened scratch-resistant membrane.
- PureReflect – True mirror reflection, high gloss, toughened scratch-resistant membrane.
- PureAntiReflect – Smudge proof, matte finish, no-glare, toughened scratch-resistant membrane.
All SwitchEasy NUDE cases for iPod Touch 4G come with the usual additional accessories: pin connector protectors, headphone jack protectors, anti-static screen guards (which I never use at all), microfiber wipes, and squeegee screen guard applicators in case you decide to apply the screen guards provided.
The SwitchEasy Pure protective membrane, on the other hand, comes with the three variants of iPod Touch 4G protectors and the necessary accessories you need to apply them. How I wish SwitchEasy made a back protector, as well, to come with the package since the glass back panel of the iPod touch also needs protection.
I’m still debating whether to get the NUDE case for my iPod Touch 4G since I already have the Belkin Grip Duo. But if you don’t have a case yet for your iPod Touch, both SwitchEasy NUDE Case and Pure Skins are available now online for $19.99 and $12.99 respectively.
