AirPlay coming to Apps in 2011?

Seems that Steve Jobs has confirmed through another of his famous email correspondences that AirPlay will be a feature present in Safari and available to developers for use in apps sometime next year. This would allow you to stream videos from Safari.app or other video content from third party apps straight to your Apple TV. Yes, you should be excited.
Here’s the text from the email pictured above:
Steve is known for short replies to lengthy questions like the one above. I’m not saying this one is definitely real, but it’s not unlikely. AirPlay is a great feature and a large reason why many consumers would consider purchasing an Apple TV. So, it would make sense for Apple to pursue the feature and make it more functional.
But do we really have to stop at just video? Wouldn’t it be amazing to play a game streamed sans wires from an iPhone to your TV? This email doesn’t necessarily cover that, but hey, we can hope.
