Mac and iPhone, iPad easter appsRather than just dump any old update on you today, we thought we’d stick with the Easter specials and announcements, pulling in some from the past month, as well. There are big discounts on Mac games and utilities, as well as specials on apps for all iDevices. But there are also Easter themed apps for decorating eggs, learning the Easter Story, and (of course) killing zombies.

Macintosh Easter apps and sales

  • New – Easter is around the corner. The deal applies to all games sold on Coladia’s web store, including Dracula 3, Nostradamus, Return to Mysterious Island 2, The Secrets of Da Vinci, Return to Mysterious Island, Cleopatra: a Queen’s Destiny, Destination: Treasure Island, Secret of the Lost Cavern.
  • This weekend Feral Interactive is offering Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition at a 30 percent discount. Order your copy today for just $34.97 (regularly priced at $49.95). This offer expires on Monday, April 25th.
  • Gameloft and Anuman Interactive have announced the “Easter Operation” until next Monday (April 25th). With this operation, casual gamers can try new HdO Adventure Extended Edition applications for a low price on iPhone, iPad and Mac AppStore. It should be noted that all the first edition users could download Extended editions for free for their applications (for example, FBI Paranormal Cases users on iPhone will be able to download Extended version on the same platform).
  • Houdah Software has announced its Easter weekend sale. The desktop search tool Tembo will be discounted at more than 50% off on the Mac App Store. The sale will run Friday through Monday. Tembo makes searching for files, mail messages, bookmarks and more easy and effective. Tembo’s strength is its easy to use interface. Its signature feature are the context sensitive filters to narrow down search results.
  • Synium Software has announced a special thirty-three percent discount for Easter 2011. All Synium applications in the Mac App Store as well as the iOS App Store are reduced in price, the offer is valid from April 21st to April 25th 2011.
