Provides: Earbud style stereo audio reproduction
Developer: Brianwavz B2
I should start this review off by telling you that I don’t like earbuds at all. They make my ears hurt and ring; never a good combination. I am much more an over-the-ear headphone kind of girl, and since I love my music, I shell out for the expensive models.
That being said, I have recently had to revise my opinion of earbuds for the Brainwavz B2. These earbuds I actually like. They won’t make you sore or deaf. Provided you don’t abuse the volume on high-bass selections, you will get great sound quality; certainly enough to keep you happy on the go.
- Driver: dual balanced armature
- Frequency range: 20-20,000 Hz
- Sensitivity: 110 dB
- Impedance: 40 Ohm
- Maximum power input: 60mW
- Cable length: 1.3m
The Brainwavz B2s come with a bevy of accessories, including a handy adaptor to fit 1/4″ stereo inputs, which is nice. As for the actual earbuds, you can feel free to ditch the three sets of black bud caps and work exclusively with the red caps. They are made of a plushy foam that molds to your ear canal and keeps you happy with sound piping only through a slim tube. For anyone who does not like the discomfort of traditional earbuds, these are a great choice.
On the whole, these are a great option for people who want a mix of solid sound quality and comfort in one device.
