Christmas is huge in South Korea, and Korean smartphone app developer Blue Wind, in collaboration with SK Networks Internet, have created White Christmas, a free augmented reality camera app.

White Christmas modifies the iPhone’s camera to display falling snow and various seasonal images in your photos. You can adjust the size or rotation of the frame to create a picture that suits you.

You can also upload your pictures directly to social networking services like Facebook or Twitter, save your pictures in the camera roll on your iPhone, or send them via email.

Blue Wind’s marketing director for White Christmas explains, “We developed the app to allow people to take White Christmas pictures and share them with their loved ones and friends. We are offering the app for free so that more people can enjoy it.”

  • Set the type and amount of falling snow and turn the flash on or off when you take pictures
