Truth of the matter is that if I woke up washed-up on the beach with no memory of who I was and how I got there, and if the only clue I had about my identity was the number XIII tattooed onto my neck, I’d figure that’s not enough to go on just remain happy in the sand and surf and my ignorance. But that wouldn’t make for a very interesting game, would it?
Éditions Dargaud and Anuman Interactive is thankfully a bit more motivated, as they have released XIII – Lost Identity, the latest adaptation of the adventures of XIII on PC, Mac, Macstore, iPhone, iPod and iPad to celebrate the release of volume 20 of Jean Van Hamme’s famous comic book series.
Players will use inventory objects to solve the puzzles, and will come across characters familiar to fans of the series, including Major Jones, General Carrington, Colonel Amos and La Mangouste.
XIII is available now for iPad ($2.99) and iPhone, and will soon be available for Mac and PC.
