Google Catalogs now available on iPad

If going to the shopping malls is not your favorite task during this holiday season, maybe Google made things a bit easier with Google Catalogs. A newly designed application for the iPad, Google offers their online catalog of hundreds of retailers molded together into one app. According to Google, the app will give consumers an easier way of experiencing online shopping from their comfortable couches, and it will feature more than 125 different retailers such as Nordstrom, Macy’s, Nike and Bloomingdale’s.

The application allows push notifications when the catalogs are updated to let the users know of new products. Google Catalog will provide embedded links right from the app that takes users directly to the online store. Google wrote in the description of the app on their blog, “With rich product images, videos, and the ability to curate your own personal collages to share with friends, Google Catalogs makes browsing your favorite mail order catalogs easy, fun and interactive.”

The application can be found at the app store and is a free download for all iPad users. Looks like the Google’s app will become a huge hit for holiday shoppers this year.
