It’s not just Disco, it’s Disco2. And it’s not just a speakerphone, it’s Crystal. And both will be on display during CES 2012 at SuperTooth’s booth South Hall, #36206. If you’re not going to be there, no worries. We’ve got the details right here.
Disco2 is a portable, rechargeable speaker with a unique design offering a compact footprint and the sound quality consumers have come to expect from SuperTooth. Users can wirelessly stream music to a single or dueling pair of Disco2s from any cell phone, tablet, computer or mp3 player supporting Bluetooth A2DP. The speaker features 16 watts RMS audio power with 2-way stereo speakers and a dual high efficiency subwoofer and medium tweeters.
The Disco 2 will be available in multiple colors for $99 by around the end of Q1 2012 for $99, although that release date may change, of course. That’s how CES works.
The Crystal is SuperTooth’s newest introduction to its Bluetooth speakerphone line. Featuring an ultra sleek and slim design, Crystal attaches to your car’s sun visor via a magnetic clip that allows for hands-free calling. Multi-point technology will allow you to connect up to two phones simultaneously, both of which can take advantage of up to 20 hours of hands-free talk time (40 days of stand-by).
Crystal can stream music directly from all Bluetooth A2DP-enabled phones and integrates with your Bluetooth-enabled smartphone to announce turn-by-turn navigation. If your phone has voice recognition dialing, Crystal supports that, as well.
Also available in multiple colors, Crystal is tentatively scheduled for an end Q1 2012 release for $69.
