2nd Generation iPhone production deal in place?

Even before the first generation iPhone has been released, we are already hearing about the 2nd Generation iPhone. Quanta Computer has apparently landed a deal allowing them to produce the second iPhone. The new, new iPhone is said to have a new outer design, with more features inside. However, this is not certain as some think that the deal will go to the current supplier, Foxconn. This seems like a far-fetched rumor as Apple has not even seen if the first iPhone will be a success, though they probably have a good idea of it’s outcome, I highly doubt they would go straight to another manufacturer for the second version. The 1st gen iPhone is expected to be released on June 20th.
