Back in September, Google rolled out one of its newest services: Flight Search. This new service, as the name suggests, helps users find flights depending on their schedule, price range, and preferred airline. The service had not been optimized for iOS, but now Google has made the service’s web page fit within Safari on iOS. Just as in the desktop version of the service, iOS users are able to search, discover by location, and filter by price, time, airline, and calendar view.
Siri has also been found to be compatible with Google’s Flight Search. Instructing her to “Google flights between location A and location B” will bring up top results that include Flight Search listings.
Even if you’re not constantly travelling the world, you never know when you may need to purchase a flight while on the go. When that time comes, Google’s Flight Search will now be there for you right from your iDevice.
