If you’ve used Readability on your Mac, then you know what’s it all about, and you’ll probably be excited to learn the universal iOS version is arriving on March 1st. If you haven’t used it, but you’ve used Reader for Safari on your iDevice before, then think that with a few more features, such as the ability to alter text size for easier reading, and to choose between fonts, tweet links, and browse a reading list.
Both Safari’s built-in Reader and Readability do have the same basic functionality, which is to offer users the ability to read web pages without ads, unnecessary media, or unpleasant formatting. If you find yourself reading a lot of web content from your iDevice, and Reader just isn’t enough for you, you’ll want to check out Readability once it’s available for free on the App Store this Thursday.
