There were lots of new Leopard features announced at this morning’s WWDC keynote, but Apple also quietly rolled out several updates on its own website. One of the most notable changes apart from Finder and Safari is DVD Player. DVD Player for Leopard now sports a completely redesigned interface that is starting to look the part.
The new interface gives easy access to playback controls, subtitles, alternative audio tracks as well as a plethora of settings. Apple has also included an Image Bar, that allows you to archive and revisit your favorite moments in the form of dynamic thumbnails. You can also play editor and create video snippets from any DVD.
There’s a little note that says “all features referenced in the Mac OS X Leopard website are subject to change”, so it can only get better.
