iPhone will only be available at “select” AT&T stores

Just in case you were planning to camp out or hang out leading up to 6pm launch on June 29th, you may want to double check to make sure the retail location that you are planning to visit will actually have the iPhone in stock.

In some recent documents obtained by The Consumerist we are given some further details about the availability of the iPhone. “At launch, this product will be available only at www.apple.com/iphone, select AT&T retail locations and Apple retail locations”. While I do not find this to be that unexpected, some may expect it to be at all locations, so be warned.

This will most likely foil most plans out there to go to a remote AT&T location and purchase one, I guess we’ll all just have to line up extra early.
