AppleTell seems to be on a roll right now, we’ve been talking about Safari non-stop for the past two days. That’s partly because the response to Apple’s web browser has been overwhelming. There were more than 1 million downloads of the Windows version in the first 48 hours after the announcement.
Meanwhile, Apple has updated the Windows beta of its web browser. Now at version 3.0.1, the update brings numerous security improvements, including corrections to a “command injection vulnerability”, processing and validation of URLs, segmentation faults and JavaScript exploits. The Mac version is still sitting squarely on 3.0.
