During the Apple media event today, CEO Tim Cook announced that the highly-anticipated update to iOS 5 is arriving on customers’ iDevices today. Apple also announced a new version of iTunes which is now available.
Apple has longed promised to add Siri support for additional languages such as Chinese, Japanese, among others. With today’s announcements of the iOS 5.1 update, it finally adds support for Japanese. This update also add the ability for users to automatically delete photos from the Photo Stream.
iTunes v10.6 is available right now for download at Apple’s website. iOS 5.1 is also available via iTunes, but the connection is pretty slow going.
