Netflix iOS app updated for Retina iPad display

NetflixNetflix subscribers with a third-generation iPad will soon be able to stream in 1080p HD, although for now at least the app has been updated with artwork to support the Retina display. Some minor improvements—such as a fix for VoiceOver support, better playback on external displays, and numerous others—are also included in the update.

Of course, Netflix is a paid subscription service, and will cost new users $7.99/month following their 1-month free trial. If you’re already a subscriber, the newest version of the Netflix app is available for free on the App Store.
