The Apple Support Communities are seeing a number of third-generation iPad owners complaining to the company about an issue causing poor Wi-Fi reception on the iDevice. Complaints vary from reduced range in picking up Wi-Fi network signals in comparison to older iPad models to constant Wi-Fi disconnections; problems that similarly affected the first-generation iPad and were subsequently fixed by an iOS update.
OS X Daily has managed to come up with a temporary fix for some of the problems involved with this Wi-Fi reception issue, although so far Apple has failed to comment or offer any sort of official solution. If you’re suffering from a Wi-Fi related issue on your own third-generation iPad, I recommend trying OS X Daily’s fix and/or making use of 4G (if possible) until Apple does something about it.
