Here’s an interesting accessory. Known as the Floater from Balmuda Design, said accessory is a stand to glorify thy MacBook. Made from aluminium, it compliments the MacBook Pro (and the PowerBooks) quite nicely. Naturally, it also acts as one giant heat sink, which draws some of the heat notoriously generated by the MacBook Pros.
The Floater will only accommodate all the MacBooks that are currently available for retail (13.3-inch MacBook, 15- and 17-inch MacBook Pros) plus the 17-inch PowerBook G4s. Since it holds your laptop vertically, you will have to use an external keyboard, mouse and display if you really want to get any work done.
Of course, you can always just use it as a display shelf. Available from Balmuda Design for a hefty $305.
