You may remember that Gamertell covered three new iCade controllers at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES). The good news is that two of those three controllers have now gained pricing and release date information. The bad news is that such information only applies to the United Kingdom for right now, and that the iCade Jr. is excluded.
The iCade Core and iCade Mobile will both be priced at £49.99 (approximately $81 USD), and will launch in mid-June (no exact date has been set as of yet). Both are quite interesting and unique takes on an already well-established concept of being able to play classic arcade games on iOS the way they were meant to be played…with physicals buttons and controllers. Hopefully more information will be coming from Ion, the company behind the iCade, sometime soon.
