While Angry Birds Space has only been out for a little over a month, (its developer) Rovio has updated the game with 10 completely new levels as well as 20 free “Space Eagles” for players. For those new to the game, those Space Eagles are basically passes to get out of completing a level one finds too difficult. The 10 new levels have been given the name of “Fry Me to the Moon,” and feature things like pigs that orbit icy plants, adding increased difficulty to the already tough game. One of the reasons Angry Birds Space is harder than its predecessors is the whole no gravity concept, which can trouble even those that have become skillful in playing previous Angry Birds titles.
On top of the 10 new levels and 20 free Space Eagles, players can also earn an additional free Space Eagle every day just by playing the game. The update also fixes crashing issues that plagued the previous version. While this new update is free, Angry Birds Space is $0.99 on the App Store, which is a killer price for such a fun game, if you ask me.
You can download it for your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad now on the App Store.
