Apparently, a designer that regularly talks with Apple employees has been given the deets on the current plan to upgrade the iPhone via software updates, appeasing the few problems that users have found with the new mobile device. This includes a full file browser, iChat mobile, disk mode, widescreen keyboard throughout, iWork integration, Spotlight, and more all before or timed with Leopard’s release in October. The rumor, mind you, is not from AppleInsider sources, and, as any other rumour simply stated on a forum, should be taken with a heap load of salt.
