Apple stores sell out of iPhones

The red lights prevail; Apple Stores shelves go bareIt looks like the inevitable finally happened–the Apple Stores sold out of iPhones. Apple’s new iPhone availability checker is showing up red for iPhones across the country. There is not one iPhone left in stock. Zero. Zilch. Nada. The only way to order an iPhone now is to use Apple’s online Apple Store, however, the ship date on that is 2-4 weeks. Could this be the sign that Apple has sold 1 million iPhones?
