Longtime PC strategy game publisher Paradox Interactive has announced a new entry for Mac gamers. Crusader Kings II is a strategy game set in Medieval Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East, recreating the economic, political, religious, and social aspects of the Middle Ages.
You can start the game at any point from the prelude to Hastings in September of 1066 all the way to the fall of the Byzantine Empire in May of 1453. By controlling your family through the centuries you can lead your dynasty to victory, whether it’s to gain the Imperial Crown of the Holy Roman Empire as a Rhinelander prince, stand before the Mongol Hordes as a Russian prince, or add the Crown of France to your list of titles as an English king. What you choose to do and when you do it is in your control.
To take this trip into history you’ll need a Mac running Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.8 or higher, Intel Core Duo 2 GHz, 2 GB RAM, 2 GB available hard drive space, and a NVIDIA GeForce 320/9600 or ATI Radeon HD 6750 video card.
A list of where you can purchase Crusader Kings II—both online and at retail stores—is available at the official Crusader Kings website. For more information on the game you can like the official Facebook page, follow the game on Twitter, or visit the forums.
