Apple has officially announced the 2012 Worldwide Developers Conference keynote event, which will take place Monday, June 11 at 10:00 AM Pacific Time. For the conference attendees, Apple has prepared a helpful “Attendee Guide” and iOS app to assist with preparations for the week long conference.

The keynote event will focus on Apple CEO Tim Cook’s announcements. Most likely, we will see other Apple executives—such as Phil Schiller and Scott Forstall—sharing the stage with Mr. Cook.

The topics of the event are still unknown, but will probably deal with the Apple’s Mac products (there are rumors of a hardware upgrade to the MacBook line) and their use of OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion. Also, the audience at large should get a sneak peak at iOS 6, and we might see an upgrade to the iCloud service as well.

Apple has released a free WWDC iOS app for attendees. The application is, of course, fully compatible with the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.
