Following yesterday’s Final Cut Pro, Aperture and iPhoto Retina display updates, Apple has now released an update for iMovie ’11. Along with Retina display support for the New MacBook Pro, v9.0.6 brings general stability and compatibility improvements. Apple has also added support for more international languages (Catalan, Croatian, Czech, Greek, Hungarian, Romanian, Slovak, Thai, Turkish and Ukrainian).

The updated iMovie app is now available for download in the Mac App Store. Mac OS X 10.7.4 or later is required in order to run this update.

  1. Ever since this update. iMovie has been crashing on all three of my Macs running Lion. The program is totally useless. Is anyone else having this problem? It’s all over Twitter.
