Apple has released a new holiday commercial, and since we’re approaching Christmas, you can guess who gets to star alongside the iPhone 4S (hint: Santa Claus). This year, Santa gets a little help for keeping track of time for the Christmas Day gifts deliveries. In the commercial, the digital-assistant Siri demonstrates to Mr. Claus its many uses, such as looking up directions on Google Maps, searching through emails, checking the nice/naughty list and, most importantly, checking the weather conditions.

The new ad marks the third addition to Apple’s iPhone 4S commercials. If you haven’t seen it yet, you can watch the full commercial below.

Apple has recently unveiled two new commercials—one for the iPod touch titled Share the Fun and one for the iPad 2 titled Love.

Both of them show people—both young and old, men and women—using these devices in fun and innovative ways; perfect for those who might look at an iPod touch or iPad and wonder what they can do that a desktop or laptop computer can’t.

Best of all, they do so in a positive way without denigrating other products or their users as Samsung did recently in an ad mocking iPhone users.

Apple has started airing more commercials showcasing their new products. This time around, they focused on the new 8 megapixel camera, its ability to record 1080p, photo camera editing, and iCloud. And, of course, more attention is paid to the most talked about feature of the iPhone 4S: Siri, the personal voice-activated-assistant.

iCloud:

In this commercial, iCloud is being highlighted with automatic iTunes Music downloads across all iOS devices, Documents in the Cloud propagating updates, iBooks bookmarks copying themselves from iPhone to iPad, and Photo Stream taking the pictures from iPhone along with transferring them to iPhoto on your mac.

Camera Capabilities:

This ad shows the camera access from the lock-screen to take pictures, pinch-to-zoom on every picture, on-device photo cropping and red-eye removal, and Twitter integration. Apple cleverly points out that users who own an iPhone 4S don’t need a separate camera to take amazing photos on the go, you only need your iPhone.

Siri:

Apple focuses again on Siri’s ability to help users with daily tasks such as pulling up the day’s appointments, pulling up Maps and directions, reading the last SMS message on your iPhone 4S, and asking “Do you think it will snow today?” from the Weather application.

Apple has started showing its first TV advertisement for the new iPhone 4S which depicts Siri and its features in action. The ad demonstrates the wide variety of ways in which Siri can assist iPhone 4S users in life different situations. People talk and ask questions to their iPhone 4S, to which Siri responds by helping them fix a flat tire, tie a bow-tie, find the nearest hospital, check the weather, schedule meetings, find a locksmith, and more.

It appears from the commercial that Apple is aware that Siri seems to be biggest draws for those who looking to purchase a new iPhone 4S. The ad ends with, “Say hello to the most amazing iPhone yet.”

Apple has released a new iPad commercial entitled “Learn,” showing how the iPad can enable you to learn new skills in new and exciting ways.

Are you curious about new ideas? Do you want to learn a new language. Or just a new word. Maybe you want to know more about anatomy. Or astronomy. You could master something new or uncover a hidden talent. There’s never been a better time to learn.

Apple has released a new iPad commercial entitled “We’ll Always,” showing some of the nifty things you can do that you didn’t think were possible with an iPad. Looking at photos, making a movie, watching a baseball game, reading a book, following a cooking recipe, learning how to write; the ad says all of these things will always be done, but how we do them will never be the same.

There’s even a reference to OS X Lion by having the kid learning how to write lion.

Apple released a new iPad 2 commercial a few days ago on their iPad page and YouTube channel. Entitled “Now,” this ad shows all of the things we can do now that we have an iPad 2 that we couldn’t do before.

We can now watch a newspaper (Wall Street Journal), listen to a magazine (Spin), curl up with a movie (The King’s Speech), see a phone call (FaceTime), take a classroom anywhere (iTunes U), hold an entire bookstore (iBooks), and touch the stars (Star Walk).

What’s interesting is that the iPad 2 isn’t named until the very end of the ad, and the only mention of Apple is in the logo. The activities shown in the commercial show what’s possible with the iPad 2 and appeal to nearly everyone, not just Apple fans or technology aficionados. Even people who use computers at work and avoid them at home can say “I want to read an interactive newspaper or book” or “I want to watch a movie” and think about getting an iPad 2.

All-in-all the commercial should work very well in reaching out to people who may have thought an iPad wasn’t for them and encourage them to change their mind.

The advert goes through the motions of using several of the most powerful applications available for the iPad—such as Numbers and GarageBand—that really show the power of the portable device. The advert’s narrator goes on to say, “When technology gets out of the way, everything becomes more delightful, even magical.” That’s a pretty powerful statement for a company that’s making its money from the technology side of things, but it’s very true nonetheless. I guess that’s why we love you, Apple.

Apple has unveiled the official teaser for this coming Friday’s Black Friday event, inviting all of use to check out Apple online store to know which products are up for grabs at cheap prices.

The teaser, though, reveals nothing, serving more as an invite to visit the Apple site again on Friday.

According to rumors surrounding WWDC, Apple will air a final Get a Mac commercial with John Hodgeman as the sole actor. The plot? As 9to5 Mac puts it, “PC pretends to be a bartender and gets a guy drunk in order to get his hands on his new Apple prototype!!” If this is true, it’d certainly get a nice laugh out of everyone there. Perhaps, they’ll even poke fun at Gizmodo, too, for purchasing that lost phone. The only disappointing part about this ad will be the fact that it most likely is a finale ad according to the rumors around the cancellation of the Get a Mac ads.
