Apple’s October 23rd media event live blog
It’s pretty much a foregone conclusion that we’ll finally be seeing the iPad mini at Apple’s media event, something for which tech pundits have been clamoring pretty much since the original iPad was originally announced. The question is whether consumers want one as badly, and whether Apple has found a way to make them want one.
Apple iPhone 5 Media Event live blog
Apple has been highlighting features of the forthcoming iOS 6 for many months now, and on September 12th, we’ll finally see some features of the newest device to run it. The iPhone 5 will be unveiled at 10:00 am PT (1:00 ET) at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, and Appletell will be running a live blog of the event.

Apple’s “Let’s Talk iPhone” media event is just around the corner—finally—and as always, Appletell will be live blogging the event right here. I’m going to be honest with you, it’s hard for me to get a grasp on this year’s keynote. The rumors do not speak of stunning new hardware and major advances, they speak of OS upgrades and…clouds. And in a way, that makes it all the more intriguing. As such, we’ll be at this very spot come 10:00 a.m. PDT (1:00 p.m. EDT) for live coverage of the event.

Apple’s kicking off the month of September with a media event today, and Appletell will be covering it live right here. To be fair, you may not need us this time, as Apple is running their own live stream of the event. iPhone 4 press conference live blog
“And one more thing…uh, oops.” We likely won’t hear anything such as that at Apple’s iPhone 4 press conference today, but I’m not entirely sure we should. That we’re live blogging an impromptu Apple event regarding isolated antenna/reception issues just indicates to me that the company has become so important in the smartphone industry that a.) any gaff is viewed catastrophically enough to warrant a public explanation, and b.) when Apple wants to explain something, people listen.
