The talented team at iFixit got their hands on Apple’s newest 13-inch Macbook Air model which got unveiled at Monday’s WWDC 2012 keynote event. The iFixit experts took the Macbook Air apart, revealing subtle changes in the interior design even though this latest version kept the same outward appearance as previous models.

Rumor: New MacBook Pro to sport Retina Display, Ivy Bridge processors

Apple has kept the industrial design of the MacBook Pro intact since late 2008, but many rumors are hinting that Apple will shave some of its weight to make it more like the ultra-thin MacBook Air. According to sources from 9To5Mac, Apple is planning to introduce new laptops with an entirely new design that will be thinner and lighter, have a Retina resolution display, and drop the optical drive.
