One of the first places you’ll want to look is WiFi Baby.
Thunderbolt devices start appearing
It’s taken a little while, but there are three new Thunderbolt devices appearing on the market. Sonnet Technologies will have an Echo ExpressCard/34 Thunderbolt Adapter which lets you connect older devices to your newer Mac. Blackmagic Technologies has their UltraStudio 3D which provides portable video capture and playback for professional editors. And LaCie will have a Little Big Disk, an external storage device with either hard drives or solid-state drives in a built-in RAID 0 configuration.
Village Instruments will release external Thunderbolt video card
Do you like your Mac but want the added “oomph” a really powerful video card can bring? Do you want a laptop for portability and don’t have the money to also buy a desktop computer? Want the ability to buy the latest video card? Village Instruments will have the answer to all of these dilemmas when it comes out with its external graphics card enclosure with a Thunderbolt connection for added speed.

Elgato HDHomeRun streams TV to your computer, iPad
Watch TV…on your computer!? It’s like we’re living in the future! The Elgato HDHomeRun is a new device that connects to your antenna or cable box, and allows you stream HD TV signals wirelessly to multiple computers, as well as devices like the iPad and iPhone. The HDHomeRun connects to your source via Ethernet, then broadcasts over your home network. On the Mac end, it uses Elgato’s EyeTV software to stream HD video to to your computer, as well as search for shows, record video, and export that to iTunes.
How to use your iSight to record video in iMovie
Using your iSight web camera is a great way to record video into iMovie. You may not remember this, but there were two different types of iSight web cameras: internal and the discontinued external. The internal cameras are built into most Macbooks, iMacs and Cinema Displays. The external models can still be found at pretty hefty prices, but can then be added to the older machines or to machines without the camera built in.
Lensbaby announces Composer Pro
If you’re a photographer, you’ve no doubt heard of Lensbaby. They make awesome lenses like no other company. Today, they announced the Composer Pro. It’s a lens that combines the tilt/swivel action that allows for tilt shift photography with the selective focus mechanism that Lensbaby is known for. But more than that, the Composer Pro is said to have a silky smooth swivel ball making it easier than ever for you to find the sweet spot.
Boxee firmware update to bring some nice fixes and features
As Boxee describes on their blog, they’ve made it their goal to release a firmware update at least every three months or so in order to make sure their customers are getting the latest and greatest they have to offer. The next update is set to come out around May and is bringing some nice additions. For instance, they’re making some improvements to the loading and scrolling of their built in browser.

Boxee has made quite a name for itself in the set top box and streaming content market. After starting out on jailbroken Apple TVs, Boxee has grown to the point that it could land some great deals with content partners. For instance, recent support for Netflix streaming, Vudu purchases, and more has been quite awesome to see. And now, we’ve had the chance to try out the Boxee Box itself.

Boxee has announced that their flagship product, the Boxee Box, can now instantly stream both TV shows and movies straight to your TV. Despite it being a “bummer that [they] could not make it happen earlier,” they are obviously pretty excited about it now.
