Two week delays for 17-inch MacBook Pro

For those of you desperately waiting to get your hands on Apple’s 17-inch MacBook Pro, it looks like you’ll have to wait a short while longer. According to emails being sent to customers who pre-ordered the new laptop, Apple need more time to package and finalize the shipping process. They say the laptops will now ship on February 19th 2009. In the email they explain: “Wrapping up the new 17-inch MacBook Pro is taking a few days longer than we projected.”
