Appletell reviews Mini Golf for Click Wheel iPod
Did you all know they’re still making games for the click wheel iPods. It’s true! Some new ones have even been released this year! It’s okay if you forgot about this darkened corner of the iTunes Store. Once we find someone to hold our hand, we’ll venture back there to review these new games. In the meantime, there are some we’ve been playing for a while that haven’t been reviewed at Appletell. Case in point? Mini Golf from EA Mobile.
iPod nanos updated to support new in-ear headphones
Apple has released an update for the new “nano-chromatic” 4th Generation iPod nano. The update includes a number of bug fixes and enables support for the new in-ear headphones, and the new earphones with mic and remote. The update also adds a menu item allowing you to disable Cover Flow when you tilt the iPod to the side.

Rumor: New generation iPod nano will have a larger screen
Word on the street says Apple is contemplating releasing the 4th generation iPod nano in a slightly wider size than its first three generations. The increase in size is necessary for the new iPod Nano to have a larger screen than its current 2-inch LCD. The new 4G nano would also have an aspect ratio similar to the iPod Touch.
Now, here’s the interesting part. Given the design of the current nano, the redesign would make it a larger-screened version of the second generation Zune media player. The basic difference would be the 4G nano’s click wheel navigation instead of the Zune’s touchpad.
Further speculation after the break.
