Adium has long been my favorite chatting program on the Mac. Sorry Apple, but iChat just doesn’t cut it for me. It’s kind of like TVs; you don’t know how bad your TV looks until you’ve seen a 1080p in person.

This week, Adium released an official update to their slick chatting program, clocking its version number at 1.3.

No longer in beta, Adium 1.2 is available for public download now and has some nice improvements long time Adium users will notice and appreciate. Adium 1.2 is just around the corner, with a download available from the beta page. The team have added many improvements into the next version of the popular messaging client, specifically Bonjour improvements. Bonjour, Group Chat, XMPP, AppleScript and many minor features have been fixed and improved, resulting in a less-buggy version of the app. more »
