Happy birthday, App Store!

It’s hard to believe it, but it has already been one year since Apple released the App Store for the iPhone and iPod Touch. It’s been a long journey full of ups (hundreds of success stories from indie developers and companies) and downs (the stress of long wait times and random decline of applications), but there is no doubt that the App Store changed the mobile phone market. With over 56,000 applications now available in the store, the iPhone has become more functional by an unbelievable amount.
