Belkin has 50% off (almost) everything on their online store

Belkin, maker of all types of accessories for laptops, iOS devices, and Android devices, is having a sale until September 30th. Not just any sale, but a 50% off (almost) everything sale with no minimum purchase. All you have to do is use the coupon code FB50 when you check out on Belkin’s online store. The only bad news is that Belkin’s web site has been inundated with shoppers, so it may take you a few tries to get in.

Appletell reviews the HyperMac Stand for iPad

HyperMac has taken two of the most useful accessories and combined them into one great portable product that can solve a lot of common problems at once. The HyperMac Stand combines a stand with a battery, and does so in as small of a package as possible. It’s not the best stand, nor is it the best external battery, but together, the portability makes up for any shortcomings. In this case, being a jack of all trades, master of none is desirable. It’s the perfect tool for a writers on the go.

Quirky releases Space Bar, a sleek aluminum shelf with USB hub

If you have Apple gear, then it’s quite likely that you won’t buy just any accessory. No, it has to both look good and do something useful. Quirky’s newest product, the Space Bar, is both sleek and useful. And just to top it off, it’s priced reasonably, too. The Spacebar is simple product; a shelf with a built in USB hub. But simplicity is not so easily executed, although Quirky sure makes it seem like it is.

Apple’s Black Friday to be surprisingly bright?

The BoyGeniusReport received a rumor earlier this week that claims to have the details on Apple’s Black Friday plans. The rumor contains a “leaked” image that displays all the deals for the day, which include up to 30% off iPods (excluding the iPhone and iPod shuffle), up to 25% off Macs, and up to 15% off accessories. The sale would only be valid for November 27th, 2009, and as far as I can gather, only in store (not online).

Essence of Apple can be found everywhere

This weekend, an event by the name of The Gadget Show Live is being held in Birmingham, UK. Hosted by the presenters of the Channel 5 program, The Gadget Show, featured over 120 companies showing off the latest tech. Although Apple didn’t make an appearance, their products and ideas still came through.

iLounge releases iPod + iPhone book 4; offers free tutorials for iPhone, iPod, iTunes, and Apple TV

It can be frustrating when you purchase a device and don’t find the answers to the questions you have in the accompanying manual. I’m sure I’m not the only one who has faced this with my various Apple devices. Scouring the internet was extremely helpful, but I wish I had all that information in one place.

If you’re an iPod, iPhone, iTunes or Apple TV user, you’ll be happy to know there is a free book available that answers most of the commonly asked questions. Every year, iLounge publishes a book that focuses on the questions readers have for their Apple devices. You can get this book as a free download for your computer, iPhone, iPod or other small portable devices. The book size will vary depending on which one you download. The one I downloaded was 268 pages, which I have it stored on my 17″ MacBook Pro and have also printed it out. I’ve since spent a lot of time flipping though it to read many of the reviews, design retrospectives, and tips that were included. Many pictures are included with this book, and it’s filled with valuable information.

Book section details after the break.
