Apple unveils iPod touch and iPad 2 commercials
Apple has recently unveiled two new commercials—one for the iPod touch titled Share the Fun and one for the iPad 2 titled Love. Both of them show people—both young and old, men and women—using these devices in fun and innovative ways; perfect for those who might look at an iPod touch or iPad and wonder what they can do that a desktop or laptop computer can’t.
Apple releases new iPad ad entitled “Learn”
Apple has released a new iPad commercial entitled “Learn,” showing how the iPad can enable you to learn new skills in new and exciting ways. “Are you curious about new ideas? Do you want to learn a new language. Or just a new word. Maybe you want to know more about anatomy. Or astronomy. You could master something new or uncover a hidden talent. There’s never been a better time to learn.”
Apple releases new iPad ad entitled “We’ll Always”
Apple has released a new iPad commercial entitled “We’ll Always,” showing some of the nifty things you can do that you didn’t think were possible with an iPad. Looking at photos, making a movie, watching a baseball game, reading a book, following a cooking recipe, learning how to write; the ad says all of these things will always be done, but how we do them will never be the same.
Apple’s new iPad 2 ad shows what makes it unique [video]
Apple released a new iPad 2 commercial a few days ago on their iPad page and YouTube channel. Entitled “Now,” this ad shows all of the things we can do now that we have an iPad 2 that we couldn’t do before. What’s interesting is that the iPad 2 isn’t named until the very end of the ad, and the only mention of Apple is in the logo. The activities shown in the commercial show what’s possible with the iPad 2 and appeal to nearly everyone, not just Apple fans or technology aficionados.
Apple cancels “Get a Mac” ads?
Your favorite comical Get a Mac ads you have grown up with have seemingly been canceled. Instead of appearing on Apple’s website, you will now be redirected to a page about “Why You’ll Love a Mac.” Furthermore, it appears as if Apple has taken them off of their site all together; searching for “Get a Mac” yields no results. Luckily, all of the ads can easily be found on YouTube via a simple search or at sites created for Get a Mac ad lovers.
Apple creates 12 days of Christmas iPhone commercial
Like everyone else, Apple is getting into the holiday spirit with their latest iPhone ad for the twelve days of Christmas. The advertisement this time, with the same perfect hand, simply goes through a dozen or so iPhone applications to an altered version of the traditional Christmas song. As usual, it is pretty clever in the wording and applications chosen.
New Get a Mac ad talks about innovations
There is no doubt that Apple may be a more innovative company that Microsoft. While I’m not implying that Microsoft simply copies all of the tops products that come out of Cupertino, Apple does certainly make more barrier breaking products, in my opinion. Their latest Get a Mac ad, PC Innovation Lab, focuses on these innovations…or lack thereof. It has the same two actors you’ve grown used to, as well as a special guest PC or two with the same witty type of dialog.
Apple creates another web ad, Microsoft isn’t on the internet yet
Apple, who seems to have a habit of creating news web ads that take over almost every ad spot on the New York Times homepage, is at it again with their “#1 In Customer Experience” ad. This ad shows how a recent survey reveals that Apple is #1 in customer experience. As usual, PC tries to find a way around this by getting opinions from two men on the left side of the website. When given the chance to talk, these two men then praise how Macs are so easy to use and how helpful the Genius Bar can be. As always, it ends out with Mac on top again.
New iPod touch ad features new song, different apps, same ideas
Apple has released yet another iPod Touch advertisement. As is typical of all Apple iPhone and iPod Touch ads, this one features that perfect hand on a white background with nothing but the iPod Touch. This time around the ad has been titled “More Fun” and contains the background music of Franz Ferdinand’s “No You Girls” (look to see that one on the iTunes list any day now). The ad focuses on the concept of gaming again and features a variety of games on the App Store.
Interesting iPod touch gaming ad introduced on Yahoo!
Apple has been known to have created some fairly interesting web based ads that have most commonly appeared on the New York Times and other popular sites. Up until this point, these ads, unlike some ads, have been fairly unobtrusive and have remained within their little ad areas. However, Apple has now created a new iPod touch ad that doesn’t leave its area, but still manages to literally shake the whole Yahoo! games home page. Although the ad itself is familiar, this was a pretty interesting way of applying it.
Check it out after the break.
