Steve Jobs biography available now on iBooks and Kindle
For those of us who have been waiting for the Steve Jobs biography by Walter Isaacson, the ebook is now out for both iBooks and Amazon Kindle. Actually, the Kindle version came out a few minutes earlier than the iBooks version a few hours ago. The print version of Steve Jobs will start hitting traditional bookstores today.
Steve Jobs “healthy and energetic” according to Woz
Steve Jobs will not be returning to Apple for a while still, yet some new quotes from Steve Wozniak, the co-founder of Apple, have given insight into the state of his health. According to The Wall Street Journal, Woz was quoted as saying that Jobs “… doesn’t sound like he’s sick …” but rather sounds “… healthy, energetic.” Although he wasn’t directly asked about Jobs’ health, this may be all he would have said anyway. If Woz noticed such a revival, hopefully we can hope that Steve Jobs still has enough in him to work full time at Apple again.
Woz gets a new Job
In these job(s)less times, it’s getting rare to hear that anyone is getting hired. But when you’re Steve Wozniak, maybe it’s a different story. The New York Times published an excellent article about Woz’s new job at Fusion-io, a company that specializes in putting flash memory to work. He’s already on the advisory board, but Woz will now become the Chief Scientist.
