Apple seems to quite like adding cameras to their portable devices, with the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad all sporting at least one. Now it seems the ability to take photos on the move could spread to the second-smallest iPod in the family: the iPod nano. The latest rumors suggest we could see a seventh-generation nano being available in the coming months, with a camera. It wouldn’t be the first time the iPod nano has had a camera, either.

On top of recent iTV and FaceTime rumors, a new one is pointing towards a 6th generation of the iPod Nano. What could Apple possibly do to that device this time? Make it more nano! The new iPod Nano is rumored to have a 3cm by 3cm screen (the previous was about 3cm by 2.5cm), and, according to the pictures, it appears as if that’s all the device will be.

We all kind of saw it coming, and now Apple has made it a reality; the iPod nano now sports a video camera. That’s not all, though; there’s now also a speaker and microphone, along with a built-in pedometer and refreshed vibrant gloss colors. Apple apparently wanted in on the portable video camera market, alongside the FlipMino’s camera. For this reason, the iPod nano has gained it’s own video camera in the exact place where rumors suggested some time ago.
