A lot of people were hoping to get a glimpse of what Apple was going to unveiled at the event, but the company didn’t stream the event online. They have, however, now posted it at the Apple website.

Online Apple Store is down – iPad 2 on the way?

Apple’s iPad 2 media event is set to kick off in a few hours, and—as expected—the online Apple Store has closed down in anticipation. It’s pretty much a forgone conclusion that iPad 2 preorders, at least, will be accepted once Apple ends the media event, but will anything else be available? How about Mac OS X v10.7: Lion?

Apple’s March 2nd event iPad 2 rumor roundup [updated]

The next mysterious (well, kind of mysterious) Apple event is nearly upon us. All the invitation showed us a big number 2 and the corner of an iPad, and that’s all we needed to start speculating on what Apple will unveil. In fact, we were speculating well before that, because we have fun doing so. Here’s our roundup of all the rumors and guesses as to what Apple feels 2011 will be the year of.

Apple’s iPad 2 event live blog

Rumors of the iPad 2 have been circulating pretty much since the launch of the first iPad, and today we get to put them all to rest. Apple’s media event will begin at 10:00 a.m. PST (1:00 p.m. EST), and we’ll be covering it live right here at Appletell.

Online Apple Store is down – new MacBook Air coming?

Apple’s “Back to the Mac” media event is set to kick off later this morning, and—as expected—the online Apple Store has closed down in anticipation. This is always good news, as it means that whatever Apple unveils today will be available immediately after the event…at least for pre-order, anyway. Rumors have been sparse this time around, but it could be that we’ll be looking a new, smaller MacBook Air today, or perhaps we’ll be able to get our hands on Mac OS X v10.7: Lion.

Apple’s “Back to the Mac” event live blog and rumor roundup

Wednesday, October 20th, Apple will be holding their “Back to the Mac” press event. As usual, the event begins at 10:00 a.m. PDT, 1:00 EDT. Officially, we don’t much about the event. The invitation hints at the next version of Mac OS X—Lion—but the rest is all just rumor and speculation. You can join us right here as we live blog the event. In the meantime, here’s a quick roundup of the rumors we’ve heard so far…

Confirmed: Apple to hold Mac event October 20th

“Back to the Mac,” says Apple in their latest invitation for a press event. Considering the slogan and the fact that the image shows an Apple revealing a lion, it’s pretty safe to guess this event will be about the next version of Mac OS X: Lion. The press event will be held on Wednesday, October 20th. It’ll be nice to see Apple focusing on the Mac again rather than iOS. Regardless of the way mobile is moving, Mac OS X still remains a prominent part of people’s lives.

Apple September media event video available online

Only four hours after the keynote began in San Francisco, Apple posted the video online for those who were unable to watch the live feed earlier in the day. The September media event brought a refreshed line of iPods, along with a completely redesigned Apple TV that harnesses the Apple A4 processor found in the iOS devices. Steve Jobs also unveiled iTunes 10, with numerous bug fixes and new features, including an iTunes-based social network called Ping.

Rumor: Apple media event to be held September 7th?

Well, August has just about come and gone, meaning the previous rumor of an August Apple event was clearly inaccurate. However, this updated rumor appears to have more backing. According to a Bloomberg report, Apple will hold a press event on September 7th (which, as usual, is a Tuesday) to enable them to announce their product two weeks before this fall’s TV season kicks in.
